Led lighting typically last 50,000 burns hours with a gradual decline over that period to around 80% of the original output. As a typical school has burn hours of around 2,500 per year then the LED lights will last for 20 years. We also ensure the lighting levels are greater at the start to allow for the gradual decline in output.

We can install around your schedule to minimise disruption. From contract signature it typically takes 4 weeks to order the equipment and a typical school will take 2-3 weeks to install.

Yes, all our installers are DBS Checked.

There are a small number of other companies that offer funded lighting however our Lighting as a Service is unique in terms of in-house capability, fully maintained lighting during the contract, off balance solution and guaranteed light levels.

We have spent a number of years developing our contract to be inline with current school procurement guidelines. Although some of our customers still go out to get comparison quotes they find it very difficult due to it being a substantially different solution to lighting installers. As it is a service and a monthly fee the majority of our customers don’t go for comparison quotes.

We can offer a capex only price to allow you to compare if needed however we will take you through the pitfalls of doing this ensure you are comparing technically the same solution.
